Flat Caps

Casual & comfortable, Ivy or Newsboy caps are a good alternative to a baseball cap. Generally made from wool, linen, or cotton cloth but you'll find them in leather and straw also. Most are lined with brims that are either sewn or snapped to the crown.  Modern versions usually have a sleeker look. Newsboy, Gatsby, Baker Boy or 8/4 caps are generally sewn using 8 cloth panels with a cloth-covered button on top where the panels meet, most other styles would be considered an Ivy, Flat or Duckbill style.
