The crown of this Top Hat is a bit lower at 5 inches than the standard 7 or 8 inch crown height

Made from 100% wool felt
A "structured" hat, meaning that the wool felt has stiffeners to hold it's shape better
12-Ligne (denotes size) grosgrain ribbon band around crown
Leather sweatband
2" brim that is bound in grosgrain ribbon - a sign of good quality construction

For Craig, a 62.5 cm head - XLarge does not fit my XXL head - this hat runs pretty true to size
For Stuart, a 61 cm head - XLarge feels just right
For Jeff, a 58.5 cm head - Large fits just right

I wanted a top hat but most are very expensive. This one seems like good construction but didn't break the bank.
